NOTICE TO ALL ATTORNEYS AND PARALEGALS

The 2008 Pennsylvania Mock Trial Competitions are fast approaching and attorneys and paralegals are needed to serve as jurors for the District Competitions in our area. The dates and times of the competitions are as follows: 

Monday, January 28, 2008 at 1:30 P.M.

Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at 1:30 P.M.

Monday, February 4, 2008 at 1:30 P.M.

Thursday, February 7, 2008 at 1:30 P.M.

Friday, February 8, 2008 at 1:30 P.M.

Monday, February 25, 2008 at 1:30 P.M.

Friday, February 29, 2008 at 1:30 P.M.        

     (Please note that the last two dates are reserved for make up days or a tie breaker)      

All of the competitions will be held at the Lycoming County Courthouse in one (1) of the Courtrooms on the second floor. Each competition, including the jury's deliberation, should be concluded in about two and one-half (2 1/2) hours. A minimum of six (6) jurors is required for each competition. Attorneys and experienced paralegals are preferred.  Dress is casual, however no jeans or sneakers are permitted.  It is requested that if you volunteer and you cannot serve on the day and time you reserved, please find a substitute to attend in your place, and notify or office of your replacement.  It is further requested that everyone be on time.  Please contact me as soon as possible to volunteer to serve as a juror.
