Crosscutter Game and Fireworks
The LLA has again reserved the Cutters Cove Picnic Deck for a Crosscutters game. The Crosscutters won the New York – Penn League championship last year, and you can expect a great game.
The game is on Friday, July 9, 2004 against the Aberdeen IronBirds. The game will be followed by fireworks. The price of $15 per person (children under 5 free) includes a buffet meal and seating on the deck. The menu includes all-you-can-eat fried chicken, hamburgers, hot dogs, baked beans, potato wedges, pasta salad, dessert, soda and lemonade. (Beer extra!) Dinner is served beginning at 6:00 PM, with the game to follow. You’ll get a great view of the game, good food, camaraderie, and FIREWORKS after the game.
Send your reservation and check made payable to the LLA to Jessica Engel at the LLA office. The reservation deadline is July 1, 2004. Read more here: www.lycolaw.org/event/pages/baseball.html
What's New on the Lycolaw Web Site
You may have noticed that there have been a number of changes at the Lycolaw Web site in recent months. Several new features have been added, while the site continues to add to the database of court opinions, articles and information. We hope you find it useful.
The opinion database (www.lycolaw.org/Cases/search.asp) contains 1415 decisions from 1999. You can now click on "Recent Postings" to see the most recently posted decisions. Articles are now indexed and are searchable at www.lycolaw.org/news/news.asp. You can access any article posted on the site by browsing categories or by searching key words. The member page has been redesigned, and is easier to navigate (www.lycolaw.org/members/members.htm). The beefed up history page continues to add links to important events and documents in the Association's history (www.lycolaw.org/history/history.asp). Member profiles now include composite pictures and biographical data (Judge Muir, for example).
What would you like to see on the Web Site? Let us know. Submit articles, local law related events or historical documents or photographs for publication. The capacity of the Web is unlimited, and so is our ability to preserve our history and recognize our members on the Lycolaw.org Web site.
