     Summer is a busy time - with vacations and yard work. Take some time off to join the LLA for some fun. This is your last chance to sign up for the Crosscutter game and buffet dinner on June 29. The annual picnic is set for July 17, again at the Consolidated Sportsmen's, with steaks and chicken mixing with beer and horseshoes. An LLA sponsored blood drive scheduled for July 8, is essential to provide much needed assistance to the Red Cross.

Crosscutter Baseball, Buffet & Fireworks -Last Chance

    Join the LLA at the Crosscutters on June 29, 2002 for a game, a buffet dinner and fireworks! The LLA has reserved space on the new Cutters Cove Picnic Deck. Eat all the fried chicken, hamburgers, hot dogs, side dishes and dessert you want, and see the New York-Penn League Champions play rival Oneonta. LLA Sponsored Blood Drive

     Donate blood! Monday, July 8, 2002 - 11:45 AM - 5:45 PM at the Pine Street United Methodist Church. Receive a Crosscutters ticket and a coupon for a McDonalds Ice Cream Sundae. Contact Andrea Bower at (570) 368-1999 or email abbesq@aol.com to secure a reserved time. A shortage of donors has left blood supplies at unusually low levels, creating an urgent need for our organization to participate in this blood drive. Please help the Red Cross!

What's New on the LLA Web Page

     Be sure to visit the LLA Web page (www.lycolaw.org) frequently for updated news and information.

     The member directory www.lycolaw.org/directory/directory.asp has been redesigned to display more member data, in a more readable manner. Members may add to or change their listing by using the tool located on the directory page or by forwarding updated information to Sue Feist at sfeist@lycolaw.org. Be sure to provide updated practice area information. The Web site is often used as a tool by potential clients to identify member attorneys who concentrate in a particular area of the law.

     Are folks stopping at the LLA Web site? Check out these statistics: Since May 1, 2002 - 25,000 hits with an average of 521 per day; 4122 visitor sessions with an average of 85 per day; 1,075 unique visitors, with 371 of them visiting more than once.

Annual Picnic

     The LLA annual picnic has been scheduled for Wednesday, July 17, 2002 – 3:00 PM. at the Consolidated Sportsmen’s Picnic Grove. The catered meal will include 1/2 BBQ Chickens,  8 oz Delmonico Steaks, Scalloped Potatoes, Broccoli Salad, Baked Beans, Chocolate Cake with Peanut Butter Icing and rolls. Beer and wine included.
