New Attorneys admitted - 2003
On Monday, December 8, 2003, Judges Kenneth Brown, William Kieser, Nancy Butts and Dudley Anderson admitted six attorneys to practice before the “several Courts of the County of Lycoming.” Judge Brown noted that the admission continues a tradition that is no longer required because admissions are now regulated on a statewide level.
The attorneys, Jason K. Fetter, Christian David Frey, Christian Kalaus, Wilfred K. Knecht, Andrew D. Taylor and Tammy Avery Weber, were introduced to the Judges by current members of the Lycoming County Bar, and then the oath of office was administered by Prothonotary, William Burd.
Jason Fetter was moved for admission by Thomas C. Marshall, and will practice with the firm of McNerney, Page, Vanderlin & Hall. He is a graduate of The Dickinson School of Law.
George E. Lepley, Jr. moved for the admission of Christian Frey. Frey graduated from the Roger Williams University School of Law, and will practice with the Williamsport firm of Lepley, Engelman & Yaw.
Christian Kalaus is presently employed as Judge William Kieser's law clerk, and is a graduate of Syracuse School of Law. Diane Turner moved his admission.
Wilfred K. Knecht and Andrew Taylor are employed by the McCormick Law Firm of Williamsport. Knecht is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and was moved for admission by Carl E. Barlett. Robert Eckenrode moved the admission of Taylor, who graduated from Ohio Northern University College of Law.
Tammy Weber was moved for admission by Lester L. Greevy, Jr. She graduated from Temple Law School, and practiced for a period of time in the Philadelphia area before returning to practice with the firm of Greevy & Associates.
Each of the new attorneys was welcomed to the Lycoming Law Association by the President , Gary Weber and presented with the volume, Historical Sketches of the Bench and Bar of Lycoming County.
