Landon Appointed to Council

Lycoming Law Association member Benjamin Landon was recently appointed to South Williamsport Borough Council.  The interim appointment was made by council after one of its members resigned in June.  The Williamsport Sun-Gazette reported that he was selected over 3 others who had expressed interest in the position.  Landon expressed an interest in local government and said was excited about the opportunity to serve on council.  He was sworn in by Mayor William Miller on July 12, 2004.
