LLA Members Plan Muncy YMCA

The Williamsport Sun-Gazette recently reported that a number of Muncy area residents are working toward the establishment of a Muncy area YMCA.  Lycoming Law Association member Garth D. Everett is serving as the co-chairman of the project that may be constructed, provided that financing is found.  Everett and member John A. Smay have volunteered to serve on the board of directors of the proposed YMCA.

The planning is in the preliminary stages, but a conceptual plan shows a pool, wellness centers and fitness equipment.  A capital campaign is planned.  In addition, LLA member and State Representative Brett O. Feese has been attempting to secure a grant that would assist in the implementation of the plan.
