Yaw Honored by Scouts

To receive Distinguished Citizen Award

Each year for about 20 years, the Susquehanna Council, Boy Scouts of America has recognized a local person as their “Distinguished Citizen”. This year the Scouts have chosen to honor Senator Eugene Yaw, an attorney and 37 year member of the Lycoming Law Association.

The event Chairs are State Representative Garth Everett and Penn College President Davie Jane Gilmour. This is the first time that the local scouts have honored an attorney.

A banquet in honor of Senator Yaw will occur on Thursday, October 28, 2010, at 5:15 PM, at the Penn College Professional Development Center in Williamsport.

Congratulations to Senator Yaw!
