Bar invited to open house

In 1889, well-known Philadelphia architect Isaac Hobbs built the Second Empire mansion now known as the Smith-Ullman house in Williamsport's millionaires row.  After many years of service as the rectory of Annunciation Church, the home has now been beautifully restored and converted to office space for the Williamsport firm of Raup Wiley & Sholder.

The Lycoming Bar was invited to an open house at the restored mansion on a Friday afternoon in June 2010.  Many members of the bar attended and admired the care and precision with which the restoration was implemented.  With great food and drink, the event brought a delightful conclusion to the week.
