Fred Holland Joins LLA Foundation Board

The Lycoming Law Foundation board has been operating without it full five members since late 2018. At that time, three members resigned, within a few weeks.

Jennifer Heverly was elected at the annual meeting to fill one of the vacancies. Now the board has elected Fred Holland to serve on the board, to fill another vcant position on the board.

Fred was recognized in 2017 with the William E. Nichols Community Service Award, for his extensive service.to community organizations. He will now have an opportunity to perform similar work through the Foundation.

The Foundation provides funding for worthwhile law-related community projects and activities and also to support the Williamsport Office of North Penn Legal Services. The Foundation is funded through the support of the members of the Lycoming Law Association. This support comes in various forms: from Association membership dues and income of the Lycoming Reporter; from donations of individual lawyer members of the Lycoming County Bar; from donations of other individuals, lawyer family members or estates.

One board position remains vacant. The board is seeking an interested candidate to fill that position.
