Nichols Award Funds Donated to CAPPA

LLA President Ryan Gardner announced the winner of the 2025 William E. Nichols Community Service Award at the annual banquet. The award was presented to Marc Lovecchio for his mentoring of others, particularly in youth soccer programs. The winner of that award is given the sum of $1000 to support a charity of his choice.
Lovecchio has chosen to direct the money to the Community Alliance for Progressive Positive Action (CAPPA) an organization that supports children by offering high interest alternatives to negative behavior, encouraging civic duty, promoting academic excellence, and bolstering self-esteem.
The donation was made on May 6. 2025.
