In Memorium: Gerald Seevers (1939-2026)

Gerald Seevers, a former member of the Lycoming Law Association, died on March 28, 2026.

Obituary:

Gerald W. “Jerry” Seevers, 87, of Williamsport, passed away March 28, 2026 at The Williamsport Home. Jerry has finally been reunited with his late wife, Adelene H. (Thomson) Seevers, who passed away on July 1, 2001.

Born January 10, 1939, in East Liverpool, OH, he was a son of the late Alice Otilla.

Jerry was a 1959 graduate of East Liverpool High School and went on to become a proud United States Air Force veteran. After his time of service, Jerry earned a bachelor’s degree and spent over 12 years teaching children in New Jersey. He then continued his education to earn a law degree and spent 24 years as an attorney in the Williamsport Area. Jerry then spent eight years as a Judge [Family Court Hearing Officer] in the Court of Common Pleas before finally retiring.

Jerry is survived by two children, Shawn D. Seevers (Dawn), of NY, and Melody B. Thompson (Matt), of Beech Creek; six grandchildren; and eight-grandchildren.

Along with his wife and his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by four siblings.

In keeping with his wishes, no services will be held.
