The Pennsylvania Bar Association presented County Bar Recognition Awards to local bar associations during the 2026 Annual Conference of County Bar Leaders, while celebrating the 60th Anniversary of CCBL and the 250th Anniversary of the Signing of the Declaration of Independence.
The awards, which are noncompetitive in nature, annually recognize bar associations throughout Pennsylvania for projects that improve the legal profession, justice system and community.
The Lycoming Law Association was awarded for participating in the following:
- The LLA's Young Lawyers Division organized a collection of homemade blankets and coordinated donating them to Project Linus.
- The association held a Wills for Heroes event, which provided free estate planning documents to first responders and military veterans.
- Students submitted essays and art for the LLA’s annual Law Day competition.
This award recognizes that our Association serves the community, while also meeting the needs of its member attorneys.
