LLA Attorney Supports Conservation Near Hughesville

Big News for Conservation in Lycoming County!

The entire community benefits from the incredible generosity of Attorney Robin Read and her husband, John Bierley, who have donated a conservation easement on their beautiful 116-acre property near Hughesville to the Northcentral Pennsylvania Conservancy. This special land, a mix of forest, open fields, wildlife habitat, and scenic views of the West Branch Susquehanna Valley, is now permanently protected!

Attorney Read shared that conserving this land has given her peace of mind knowing its beauty and natural balance will be preserved for future generations. Their decision was shaped by a desire to protect this landscape, its wildlife, and to prevent it from being subdivided or developed.  This donation helps ensure our region’s lands, waters, and wildlife will thrive for years to come!

Reed is the former President of the Lycoming Law Association and currently chairs the Board of the Lycoming Law Association Foundation.
