Honoring 50 Years of Judicial Service to Lycoming County: Honorable Charles F. Greevy, Jr.
On January 14, 2002, the Lycoming Law Association honored Judge Charles F. Greevy, Jr. for his fifty years of Judicial service to Lycoming County. In January 1952, Judge Greevy took the oath of office for the position of Common Pleas Court Judge. He served Lycoming County as an elected judge for three terms, to 1981. Since then, Judge Greevy has been active as a Senior Judge.
The dinner was attended by many members of the Bench and Bar of Lycoming County, as well as members of the Judge's family, his friends and former staff members. Following dinner, a video that highlighted Judge Greevy's life and career was played for all in attendance. Judge Greevy was presented with the video at the conclusion of the presentation. The high regard with which Judge Greevy is held was acknowledged by a standing ovation at the conclusion of the event.
