Lycoming County Celebrates Law Day
Law Day 2026 was celebrated at the Lycoming County Court House on Friday, May 1. Winners of the Law Day Art & Essay contest were recognized. Lycoming County Judges Eric Linhardt, Ryan Tira, Ryan Gardner and William Carlucci presided at the special session of court.
Judge Christian Frey opened the ceremony with the Pledge of Allegiance. The Lycoming County Commissioners Scott L. Metzger and Marc Sortman presented the Law Day Proclamation.
The Art & Essay contest winners then displayed their art and read poetry and essays. All the winning entries are found here. Each of the winners received a certificate, a cash prize and a goodie bag from the Lycoming County Paralegal Association. Kristina Kranz of Loyalsock High was the grand prize winner, receiving $1000 sponsored by the Lycoming County District Attoreny's office.
