Anthony Dominic Miele, a forty-nine year member of the Lycoming Law Association, died on July 29, 2010 and was honored with resolutions offered in a court proceeding on December 3, 2010. Long-time federal judge dies less than four months after retirement William Hartman Askey, a fifty-seven year member of the Lycoming Law Association, died on April 11, 2008. Thomas Wood, Jr., a sixty-six year member of the Lycoming Law Association, and former Lycoming County Judge, died on September 25, 2007 and was memorialized in special session of court George E. Orwig II, a forty-seven year member of the Lycoming Law Association, died on June 8, 2006. John Paul Campana, a long-time member of the Lycoming Law Association, died April 12, 2006. George M. Hess Jr., a fifty-five year member of the Lycoming Law Association, died on March 10, 2006. On October 17, 2003, the Lycoming County Court of Common Pleas conducted a special session of court to honor the memory of Bertram S. Murphy who died on August 1, 2003. On May 30, 2003, the Lycoming County Court of Common Pleas conducted a special session of court to honor the memory of Judge Charles F. Greevy, Jr. who died on May 14, 2003.
